Don't let language
stop an order.
For foreign customers and foreign staff alike. ATPOS is a restaurant POS whose menus and staff screens are both available in six languages.
are using ATPOS
for menus and staff screens
per month (excl. tax)
From order to payment in three steps
Fewer trips back and forth between your guests and the kitchen.
The guest orders
By scanning a QR code, or from the tablet on the table. The menu is in their own language, with photos of every dish.
The kitchen gets it
Orders go straight to the kitchen printer or screen. Nobody has to run in and repeat them.
Payment at the till
The order is already on the register. Eat-in and takeaway tax rates switch automatically.
Where it is used in your restaurant
Not only at the till. Every place an order is taken is connected.
- 1 Till
Staff enter orders and take payment. Shift close-out happens on this screen too. - 2 Table tablet
Guests order for themselves from a tablet placed on the table. - 3 QR self-order
Guests scan a QR code with their own phone and order from a menu in their language. - 4 Kitchen
Orders print straight in the kitchen, and can also be tracked on a kitchen display. - 5 Takeaway and online orders
The same menu as the till also takes takeaway and online orders.
Six languages, for guests and staff
Guests order in their own language. Staff use the system in theirs, so you spend less time teaching Japanese before someone can work a shift.
It keeps working when the internet does not
A small server in your restaurant takes over ordering and payments. When the line comes back it syncs on its own, so you never have to stop serving.

Reduced tax rate (8% / 10%)
Eat-in is charged at 10% and takeaway at 8%, switched automatically. It also meets the Japanese qualified invoice requirements.
Takeaway and online orders
Take takeaway and online orders from the same menu you use at the till.
Sales reports and multiple sites
Check sales and best sellers at any time. If you run several restaurants you can compare them together.
Works without the internet
A small server in the restaurant takes over ordering and payment, then syncs by itself once the line is back.
Remote support
When something goes wrong we look at your device from here. Nobody has to come to the restaurant.
The actual screens
These are the screens your restaurant uses every day.
How it differs from other cloud POS systems
We list what we are good at and what we are not.
| Point of comparison | | A typical cloud POS |
|---|---|---|
| Menus in multiple languages | ○ 6 languages (Japanese, English, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Burmese) | Mostly Japanese plus a few others |
| Monthly cost | △ From ¥3,000 (excl. tax) | Free to around ¥15,000 |
| When the internet drops | ○ An in-store server keeps you trading | Payment usually stops |
| All-you-can-eat and drink timing | ○ Included as standard | An add-on, or not available |
| Screens for foreign staff | ○ Display language set per staff member | Usually Japanese only |
| Track record and brand | △ Small to mid sized. Not the scale of the big vendors | Tens of thousands of restaurants |
| Services beyond the POS | △ Still limited — attendance tracking so far | Broad, including accounting integrations |
Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often before installation.
How long does installation take?
About a week from the first conversation to going live. We enter your menu for you.
Can staff who are not Japanese use it?
Yes. The display language is set per staff member, so someone who is not confident in Japanese can work in their own language.
What happens to payments if the internet drops?
A small server in the restaurant takes over ordering and payment, so you keep trading. It syncs automatically once the line is back.
Can it manage all-you-can-eat timing?
Yes. It counts down from when the course starts, tells you when last orders are due, and handles extensions.
Can eat-in and takeaway tax be separated?
Yes. Eat-in is charged at 10% and takeaway at 8%, switched automatically.
Is there a minimum contract period?
The contract runs month to month. To cancel, let us know 30 days before your next renewal date.
Can I keep my current printers and tablets?
It depends on the model. Tell us what you have and we will check before you commit.
Is support available in languages other than Japanese?
Yes. We support in Japanese and Vietnamese.
